Does a semax before and after account tell you anything useful? That is the question people actually type, and the answer turns on something the account almost never contains: the mass it describes. Posts state sprays, or units, or weeks. None of those is a mass until a concentration is supplied, and the concentration is the field that gets left out.

What a semax before and after post leaves undefined
Four fields decide what an account means, and a typical post supplies one of them.
The labelled mass of the container is usually absent. The liquid volume, whether it was chosen at reconstitution or printed on a bottle, is almost always absent. The device and its scale or pump rating are occasionally mentioned. The delivered volume is the field that does get stated, because it is the number visible at the moment of use.
Delivered volume without a concentration is not an exposure. It is a description of a gesture.
Two posters, the same words, different masses
Both write that they ran six weeks, twice a day. Take them at their word and work it out.
The first used a nasal spray, two strokes each time. Assume a bottle stated at 3 mg in 3 mL, which is 3 divided by 3, or 1 mg per mL, and a pump rated at 0.1 mL. Each stroke carries 100 mcg. Two strokes twice daily is four strokes, or 400 mcg a day. Over 42 days that is 16.8 mg. At 24 usable actuations per bottle, after an assumed three priming strokes and 0.25 mL of unreachable residual, four strokes a day empties a bottle in six days, so the account consumed seven bottles.
The second used a vial and drew 10 units each time. Assume a 10 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL, which is 5 mg per mL. Ten units on a U-100 barrel is 0.1 mL, and at that concentration it holds 500 mcg. Twice daily is 1 mg a day, and 42 days is 42 mg. Each vial gives 20 withdrawals, which at two a day is ten days, so the account consumed five vials.
Sixteen point eight against forty two. The two posts are written in the same words, describe the same duration, and differ by a factor of two and a half in delivered mass before anything about route is considered. Neither poster made an error. Neither stated a concentration, which is why the difference is invisible in the thread.
The container counts make the gap easier to feel than the milligrams do. Seven bottles against five vials sounds like the first poster used more. Multiply the containers by their labels and it reverses: seven bottles at 3 mg is 21 mg purchased, of which 16.8 mg left the pump, while five vials at 10 mg is 50 mg purchased, of which 42 mg was drawn. The second account cost more than twice as much material, and neither post mentions material at all.
Route makes the two figures less comparable still. Delivered mass across a nasal membrane and delivered mass under the skin are not interchangeable quantities, and no division on this page converts one into the other. So the honest reading of the pair is not that the second poster took two and a half times as much. It is that the two accounts describe different exposures by different routes and were written as though they described one thing.
The measurement problem specific to a cognitive claim
Most before and after topics have an endpoint someone can point at. This one does not.
Attention, clarity and mental energy are assessed by the person who chose to try the compound, expected something, and is reporting after the fact. There is no blinding, no comparison arm, and no instrument used identically at the start and the end. Practice effects run in the same direction as the hoped for result if any test is repeated, and a novel routine reliably produces a period of feeling different from baseline regardless of what is in the container.
Nasal use adds an immediate sensory event, which is a strong cue that something has happened. A subcutaneous draw is a weaker one. The two branches therefore differ not only in delivered mass but in how much the act of using them signals to the user, and that difference has nothing to do with the compound.
None of this says the reports are false. It says they were produced by a method that cannot separate the compound from the circumstances, and no amount of accumulating more of them fixes that.

Six of those seven rows are missing from a typical post, and the one that survives is the least informative on its own.
What agreement between two accounts is worth
Suppose ten accounts describe the same thing. If none states a concentration, the agreement is about wording and expectation, both of which are shaped by the same product pages and the same forum threads. Reports do not become measurements by being repeated.
There is a specific reason this compound attracts confident accounts. It has genuine Russian clinical use and regulatory approval in that country, which readers correctly perceive as more than nothing. That record is real, and it is also a record a Western reader cannot inspect, attached to a manufactured medicine rather than to a research chemical vial. There are no registered interventional trials, so no trial identifier appears here. The gap is transferability rather than absence, and a forum account cannot bridge it, because the account was produced by a person with a hand filled container and no measurement of anything.
What a checkable account would look like
It would open with the six preparation fields, which take one line. It would name a specific endpoint and the identical method used at both ends of the interval. It would list what else changed during the period rather than leaving that to be assumed. And it would state the outcome without adjectives.
Almost no account does this, and the ones that do are still single reports from unblinded people who wanted a result. That is the ceiling. Arithmetic can raise a post from meaningless to interpretable by supplying the mass, and it cannot raise it past interpretable into evidence.
