Epithalon for sale is a phrase attached to thousands of listings, and telling them apart takes eight fields rather than an instinct. Four of the eight cost a seller nothing to write. The other four are checkable, which is why fake listings leave them out.
The most checkable field of all is quantity, and it is where the listing costed on this page does something unusual. The vial is labelled 10 mg. Its certificate measures 9.64 mg. The stated allowance is plus or minus 10 percent, which is 1.0 mg in each direction, so a 0.36 mg shortfall passes comfortably while still being 0.36 mg less than the label promises. A listing that publishes a number working against itself is telling you what kind of document handling sits behind it.
The compound, once, so the rest can be field-by-field. Form: lyophilised powder, red cap, silver crimp
Form decides what you can verify and how the material survives transit. This listing states a lyophilised powder, which means the peptide was frozen and dried under vacuum into a solid cake and the vial contains no water. A dry vial tolerates days in freight in a way a prepared solution does not, and it is the reason overseas listings for peptides exist at all.
The certificate goes further than the listing and prints two details most documents omit: the cap colour is recorded as red and the crimp as silver. That converts a paper record into something you can compare against the object in the box before opening anything. A vial with a different closure than the certificate describes is a mismatch worth resolving before it is opened, not after.
What form also settles is what a quantity means. On a dry vial, 10 mg is a mass of solid. On a prepared solution, a number means nothing without a volume, and on a blend it means nothing without a split, because the headline mass is shared between two compounds. A lot code is the join between a listing and a document. Without it, a linked certificate is a picture of a laboratory report about somebody else's powder, and every figure it prints is unattached to what ships to you.
This listing names batch 15-05260628 and the certificate names the same batch, together with report number KVR-2026-A36FF4, a certification date of 23 May 2026, an access code and a verification address at koveralabs.com. That last item matters more than it looks: it moves confirmation off the seller's own website and onto the laboratory's, which is the difference between a document a vendor published and a document a vendor can be checked against.
One deduction belongs here rather than in the testing section. Only one certificate exists for this compound at this vendor, where the neighbouring Russian peptides each carry two from two different laboratories. That means there is no second lot to compare against and no way to see whether the testing scope is consistent between production runs. If a vial arrives carrying a different lot code than the one documented, the correct response is to ask for that lot's certificate rather than to assume the published one applies.
Testing scope: five rows, and the one that prints a verdict
Scope is not the same as having a certificate. Here is everything the document reports, and what each row does and does not settle.
- Purity, 99.312% against a stated minimum of 98%. Reversed-phase HPLC on a C18 column with diode-array detection at 214 nm, the wavelength that reads the peptide bond. A specification beside the result is what makes the number passable or failable.
- Identity confirmed by LC-MS. This is what stops a clean purity figure from describing a cheaper peptide of similar mass.
- Net content, 9.64 mg. Discussed above, and the reason a real rate exists.
- Endotoxin safety screen, PASS against a 0.5 EU/mL limit. The weakest row, because it prints a verdict rather than a value and names no method. The compendial reference for bacterial endotoxins testing is USP Chapter 85, and a certificate naming it with a figure in EU/mL tells you how much headroom the lot had.
- Microbial sterility screen, no growth, and heavy metals negative for arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury. Screens and verdicts rather than measured figures.
Scope is where FDA's only written concern about this compound lands. The agency has said that compounded drugs containing epitalon may pose a risk for immunogenicity because of the potential for aggregation and peptide-related impurities, and that it lacks sufficient information to know whether the drug would cause harm if administered to humans. What the listing does not promise, and what $25.00 converts to
Four things appear on pages like this one and none of them is a commitment: a dispatch cut-off is not a delivery date, a free-carriage threshold is not free shipping, a percentage discount is not a rate until you divide it, and a screen result is not a guarantee about the vial in your hand. Read all four as descriptions of intent.
The conversion itself, as laboratory handling arithmetic and nothing more. A U-100 syringe is graduated so 100 units equal 1 mL. Add 2 mL of diluent and the label basis gives 5.00 mg/mL, so the vial holds 200 units of graduated volume and 10 units carries 500 mcg. On the measured 9.64 mg, the same 2 mL gives 4.82 mg/mL and 10 units carries 482 mcg. Adding 1.93 mL instead restores a true 5.00 mg/mL, which is a correction only a buyer holding a measured net content can make.
Two closing limits. A certificate covers a sampled aliquot on a stated date, before filling, capping and transit, so it describes a production run rather than guaranteeing a vial. And the telomere and longevity claims that generate the search volume for this compound rest largely on work from one research group, mostly published in Russian, which makes them the reason listings exist rather than a finding this page endorses.
